You can sign-up for membership with the Houston Council of the Blind on-line. Just fill out the on-line form below and click 'Submit Application.'  

Advantages of belonging to the Houston Council of the Blind (HCB):

  • Enjoy monthly meetings with special programs and refreshments;
  • Receive our quarterly newsletter, The Beacon (indicate the format preferred via the application); 
  • Automatically become a member of ACB of Texas  and receive the Texas Star quarterly (indicate the format preferred via the application);
  • Automatically become a member of the American Council of the blind and receive the quarterly ACB Braille Forum;
  • Enjoy special field trips;
  • Meet other blind people;

  • Learn to be an advocate for yourself.
