April 27

The Houston Council of the Blind (HCB) turned forty on January 27, 2018!  In observance of this momentous occasion, HCB is planning a special celebration that will highlight its accomplishments, honor those who have rendered long years of service and set the tone for exciting things to come.

The event is being held at the Houston Marriott Westchase Hotel, 2900 Briarpark, Houston, Texas on Friday evening April 27th at 7:00 PM.

The celebration will feature “Episodes of Life” (stories highlighting events in the lives of members and friends).  The evening includes dinner, a silent auction, door prizes and entertainment.

Tickets for the event are $30.00 and the deadline to purchase tickets is April 20th.  Proceeds will enable HCB to continue providing scholarships, sponsor training and workshops, advocate for and support individuals who are blind and visually impaired and educate the general public regarding blindness issues.

This promises to be an exciting celebration! Hope to see you there!
